I have to check with Jackson. All of the bridges in Paterson are still out and Union Ave is still closed. The only way for you to get there would be through Wayne. Don’t even think about Rt. 80!
TRAFFIC UPDATE AS OF 4:30:
Rt. 80 – Clear in both directions in the Totowa area. Exits open.
Rt. 46 – Clear, all the way from Valley Rd. in both directions.
Rt. 3 – It looked clear but I didn’t actually drive on it.
Union Blvd. – remains flooded at two separate points. There is still NO WAY into Totowa from Union Ave. Paterson.
Jackson has been using Rt. 3 & 46 all day and hasn’t had any problems. That would be my recommendation. It seems as though a lot of people stayed home from work today and there are just much less cars on the road. Conditions have not improved at all though. Take advantage of the clear roads and get in tonight!
